Hello and welcome!

I’m Leanne, owner and photographer at Time Capsule Photography. I am based in beautiful Newcastle, Australia, photographing weddings and portraits throughout Newcastle, the Hunter Valley and Port Stephens areas (as well as anywhere else we’re asked to go!)

Through this blog I will attempt to keep everyone up-dated with what’s happening here at T.C.P. sharing info about our services, events, competitions, special offers, as well as the occasional random post about my photography journey.

My love of photography started when I was very young. I’ve always been entranced by the ability to freeze a moment in time, to be able to look at an image from long ago and be transported back to that time. A photograph can elicit powerful memories, not just of what you saw or were doing, but of how you felt, what you could smell, hear and taste, at that time. A photograph allows you to experience it all over again, years down the track.

This is what I am aiming for in my photography – it’s not just about being able to see what you looked like, but about capturing every aspect of the moment, allowing you to experience it again, every time you look at the photograph.

I’d love you to join me on my exciting journey to build my business, and to learn and grow, as a photographer, but also as a woman, wife, mum, daughter, friend….well, just as a good person really!
